My journey to this work
My journey into this work began through my own experiences with infertility, pregnancy loss, birth, and motherhood. After five years of infertility and two years navigating IVF, I endured three retrieval cycles, four embryo transfers, and three heartbreaking losses before welcoming my first child. Although his birth was a vaginal hospital birth, it was a traumatic experience that left me feeling unseen and unsupported. My second birth ended in a cesarean after a breech presentation. After having my second child, I embarked on a healing journey that transformed my relationship with my body and fertility, and I went on to conceive my third child naturally. It wasn't until my third birth, a redemptive home birth, that I experienced the kind of care every woman deserves.
That experience changed the trajectory of my life.
After that birth, I fell in love with the work of doulas and saw firsthand how deeply impactful their support can be, despite being so often underappreciated. I felt a calling to become that source of support for other women and families during some of the most transformative moments of their lives.
I realized that birth is about far more than bringing a baby into the world. It is a transformative experience that shapes how a woman sees herself, her body, and her ability to navigate motherhood. I knew I wanted to help other women feel informed, supported, and empowered during one of the most vulnerable and powerful seasons of their lives.
Beyond birth
Over the years, my passion for supporting women expanded beyond birth. As I worked with mothers, I saw firsthand how pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, hormone imbalances, and life transitions are deeply connected. Women needed more than support during labor, they needed someone who could walk alongside them through every stage of womanhood.
Today, through Woven Womb, I provide holistic support for women navigating fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and hormonal transitions. My approach blends evidence-based education with whole-person care, recognizing that our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being are all intertwined.
As a Certified Birth Doula, Holistic Health Coach, FEMM Educator-in-Training, and practitioner of body-based and nervous system-centered approaches, I believe that every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported in her unique journey.
The foundation
In 2026, I founded the Woven Womb Foundation to expand access to maternal wellness services for families in my community. Through free support groups, educational workshops, and community partnerships, the Foundation works to ensure that no mother has to navigate pregnancy or postpartum alone because of financial barriers.
What inspires me
What continues to inspire me most is witnessing women discover the strength they already carry within themselves. Whether I am supporting a first-time mother preparing for birth, a family navigating postpartum, or a woman moving through perimenopause, my goal remains the same: to create a space where women feel safe, supported, and empowered to trust their bodies and embrace each season of life with confidence.
I live in Anderson, Indiana, with my husband and three children, where you'll often find me building community, chasing big dreams for maternal health, and believing that every mother deserves a village.
